Violence Free Colorado’s Policy Advocacy Save Lives!
The safety and rights of survivors of domestic violence and their children from every community in our state are directly affected by local and state laws and policy.
That’s why Violence Free Colorado proactively advocates at the state Capitol and with other governmental agencies to address domestic violence. We work closely with Colorado’s domestic violence programs to understand the ongoing and emerging needs at the local and state level, and then we ensure that policymakers at the state and federal level hear and understand those needs.
