Hosted on the brand new CSU Spur Campus, the partnering agencies of the Denver Office of Social Equity & Innovation, the Public Health Institute at Denver Health, and the Denver Office of Behavioral Health Strategies are proud to announce the highly anticipated second annual Active Collective Trauma (ACT) Summit taking place from August 31 to September 2, 2023. This year’s ACT Summit promises even more thought-provoking panels, inspiring workshops and a wide range of speakers discussing topics to include generational wealth, trauma healing, community, development, preservation and more.

This FREE, three-day, all ages Summit stands to serve as a beacon of hope, creating safe spaces for dialogue to continue fostering the cultural and societal changes that these communities urgently require. While leading the charge in connecting communities with culturally relevant resources and non-traditional approaches to healing, the ACT Summit strives to foster a deeper understanding of the impact of trauma, resilience, and personal growth in further strengthening the collective reach. This year’s Summit will continue providing education and resources that include healthy alternatives to outdated modalities, ineffective policies and community engagement opportunities to further address healing collective trauma and building sustainable, resilient communities.
