The vision of one day living in a peaceful and equal (rape free, abuse free) society is possible with sustainable leadership, a partnership with directors and advocates and survivors. What are the factors of longevity in the work and how do we achieve those through Advocacy Essentials?
We know that community-based sexual and domestic violence response advocates change lives and offer transformational partnership with survivors and their children. Join Violence Free Colorado’s Kristiana Huitrón and Jacque Morse as we identify what leaders in the field who joined the work as survivors, advocates or both, have to say about the bare essentials for advocacy and how to build staff training and education that serves all parties through empowerment.
