This presentation will focus on Domestic Violence through the perspectives of child witnesses. Participants will develop an increased knowledge and awareness of characteristics of a Perpetrator of Domestic violence as seen through their child’s eyes, specifically focusing on traumatic bonds and the impact of interviewing child witnesses of DV. They will understand the developmental and neurological impact on children who experience domestic violence and will learn interventions to assist children exposed to domestic violence, as well as, interventions for perpetrators and non-offending parents.
