The Office of Victim Assistance (OVA) at the University of Colorado Boulder encourages applications for a Victim Advocate Counselor! This is a clinical position. Looking for LPC, LCSW, and/or Psychologists. We are accepting applications from LPCC who have at least 1,250 of their supervised hours completed.
The Office of Victim Assistance (OVA) works towards a safer, more socially just, and supportive campus community by providing culturally relevant trauma response and prevention services. OVA is in the division of Health and Wellness Services. OVA provides trauma-informed victim advocacy and short-term counseling to university students, staff and faculty who are impacted by disruptive and disturbing life events, typically crime and policy violation related. This position will work with members of the OVA team to provide free and confidential short-term counseling, advocacy, support and information to members of the university community. This position also involves speaking publicly about our response services and topic areas, as well as our “Supporting Survivors” presentation. - If independently licensed: The salary range is $60,638 – $75,056 annually dependent on years of independent clinical licensure.
- For current LPCC’s with at least 1,250 supervised hours, the salary will be $57,750 annually.
