An integral part of the technical assistance provided by Violence Free Colorado is accomplished through special projects designed to meet specific needs of our member organizations. These projects are created in response to member identified requests for assistance, gaps in services, and current issues/emerging trends as well as to help promote and integrate best practices into the broad quilt of advocacy work across Colorado. Violence Free Colorado is currently engaged in three special projects:
- Trauma-informed care
- Rural: Rural Coordinated Community Response and Statewide Rural Latin@ Outreach
- Close to Home: A Public Will Building Campaign to End Homelessness
Click through to the linked program pages above for more information on each of these projects and how you can be involved.
