REGISTER NOW!

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2015 Colorado Advocacy in Action Conference! CCASA and Violence Free Colorado have worked hard to provide you with another amazing conference full of national experts as well as local leaders. Anyone who works with survivors of sexual and domestic violence or in the prevention field is encouraged to attend. That means YOU—victim advocates, prevention educators, outreach staff, mental health professionals, campus professionals, medical providers, law enforcement, prosecutors, military command and advocacy, offender treatment professionals, school counselors, and so on. Sessions will focus on various topics including direct services, legal advocacy, program management, prevention and education, rural services and therapeutic services. By attending CAIA 2015, you will gain understanding in best practices in Colorado and beyond. We hope to see you this summer in Vail!

And don’t forget to register for the CCR Pre-Institute on June 14: Whether you have a barely formed interagency team, a Coordinated Community Response (CCR) that is facing hurdles, a domestic violence organization that wants to develop a CCR in your community or a well-established team that wants to further develop skills, this is the pre-conference institute for you. This training will offer core leaders in any CCR/ inter-agency effort — coordinators, advocates, prosecutors, and law enforcement ideas on how to strengthen, expand, and give new direction to their CCR.
